Re: Kiss Guitarist Auditions 1982

I guess the next article I've got to write up is the 1983/84 guitarist auditions. I haven't got many names for this one yet, Kevin Carlson, Tonmy Bruno, Michael Ray... and Mark St John. Has anyone here heard any more rumours of guitarists that auditioned at that point that I should chase up? All hel...

Thanks again, Kev. You may well have seen it already but I did a similar article on the 1980 drummer auditions....

Re: Kiss Guitarist Auditions 1982

Great tune, Slayer! I too love the Vinmeister...

I've got a new guitarist on the article about the KISS auditions of 1982. Did you know Al Romano (later of Sun Red Sun feat, Ray Gillen and Mike Starr), also auditioned for KISS? Read his story here too-

Thanks Slayer, I'm glad to share it here, this is a great forum with some intelligent people posting reasoned comments... unlike some other forums! Haha!

Re: Kiss Guitarist Auditions 1982

I appreciate the debate my article Pt1 on the guitarist auditions created. You may well be right, it seems nobody really knows exactly which parts were played by whom. It could well be Vinnie on Danger. Part 2 of my article about the KISS guitarist auditions of 1982 is online now at http://metaltalk...

Best Version of the Warrior Demos Yet

I posted a while back with my interview with former Warrior members here- http://www.vvforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6697 That page has since been updated (with some help from you guys) but the big update is the Warrior demos embedded in the article. They're from a new source and remastered. I thi...

Re: Article on Warrior and Vinnie

Thanks Shramiac for the info. Can I just go over it one more time to make sure, I got it right? Vinnie did the album with Robert. Robert quit. Vinnie tried to re-record the album with Goran? Was this before it was released or after? Record Company wanted pretty boy. Got Mark Slaughter. Filmed promo ...

Re: Article on Warrior and Vinnie

Yeah not bad at all...except they got Goran's time line wrong and Robert wasn't fired, he left. Please correct me on Goran's timeline? I'm the author of that piece and would like it to be as accurate as possible. Yes, I see Robert's leaving the band is also debatable, maybe I'll change that in an u...
