Re: David Bowie passed away
An absolute genius and a true artist to the end. Very few could make art out staring death in the face- Blackstar is an excellent swansong. He also introduced us to some damn good guitarists, such as Mick Ronson, Carlos Alomar, Robert Fripp, Peter Frampton and Earl Slick.

Did Vinnie's wig shrink? It looks rather small on his head compared to how it looked in the 90s.Streetbeat wrote:the other ones were not released, btw he was lucky they let him use his wigVertigodolly wrote:Two? I've only seen the one of him looking really sad.

That's the most likely outcome. I don't believe he will use the David Bowie move any time soon though.Streetbeat wrote:Maybe we'll hear from another sight or attempt to get back into the scene or sadly when he die

Plus the fact that it was only him and Diane that took care of them, he probably didn't have anyone else to help him out.doublev2 wrote:yes agreed about the dogs. i should have not gone back in to it. i just can not totally get my head around 20 dogs in there plus cats.

Re: What's happening with Vinnie?
Ah, Vinnie and his many puppets. He hasn't pulled anything out of the bag in a long while, maybe he could take his virtual sock puppets out of the box for old times sake.
Is it odd that I imagine him surrounded by sock puppets? Puppets made to look like Spyder, Suzie Q and Meredith of course.

I've never really understood the appeal of DragonForce. That being said, I'm not into power metal in general.shramiac wrote:Ugh! Dragonforce!

Re: Sped up solos?
Aren't DragonForce notorious for speeding up guitar tracks in the studio? Even if Vinnie did speed up his tracks in post-production it's fairly subtle in comparison to DragonForce.
Re: idek
I'd imagine that Vinnie would wear a fake beard alongside the wig, just to take the illusion even further.tukoztukoz wrote:Next we have the Kiss convention pics, then the mugshot. And now? Vinnie with a huge beard?

Re: Vinnie wore Ace's lighning bolt boots
Isn't there also a rumour that claims that the boots had to be stuffed with tissues/fabric in order to accommodate Vinnie's feet? From what I recall (please correct me if I'm wrong) the pair of boots recently featured in the Juliens auction were a much smaller size.

New Ace Frehley signature model
Gibson has just unveiled a new Ace Frehley model, based on his 1959 Les Paul: http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/2015/Custom/Ace-Frehley-1959-Les-Paul-Standard.aspx What do you guys think? I find it slightly odd to be honest, it's not exactly the guitar that is associated with Ace in c...

Re: The Pattaya Hard Rock guitar
And to think he estimated it's value at $60,000-$70,000 in 2002. That's more than the average value of a 1959 Les Paul (although the one that belonged to Peter Green and Gary Moore sold in excess of a million dollars). I don't understand Vinnie's reasoning behind this, there has to be some motive be...

Re: The Pattaya Hard Rock guitar
He's been caught with his pants down! Surprising that he could keep this charade for so long, and in doing so deceived many people. I wonder what he is doing now with his new ill-gotten gains. Think of all the domains he could buy!

Re: Hey Vinnie - Julien's Auction
He was more than happy to discuss the black charvel, I was surprised that he didn't provide more detailed descriptions for the others. I believe the best resolution to this issue is that he at least returns the guitars he had stolen from Tom Palecki. It's the least he can do if he is genuinely inter...

Re: Hey Vinnie - Julien's Auction
Not same guitar. Vv is saying he had Floyd replaced with fixed bridge but he says he is in Europe and can not show evidence. All lies Exactly. How could Vinnie support himself in Europe if he has declared bankruptcy, and therefore would not have the resources to do so. It's just Vinnie being extrem...

Re: Hey Vinnie - Julien's Auction
Has anyone noticed that the white Rhoads featured on the website may possibly be not be the original as stated in the auction's description? For example, it features the standard string-through tailpiece that is common on stock model Rhoads, unlike the Floyd Rose that was installed in Vinnie's guita...

Greetings from the UK!
Hello! My name is Vincent (which is ironically quite apt for this board) and I am from the United Kingdom. I followed this board for a few months before deciding to register, given my interest in Kiss, and therefore by extension, Vinnie Vincent- besides from Ace Frehley, Vinnie is my favorite guitar...
