By the time I was done with the finish, there are 12 coats of clear on that guitar.
I usually put on 3 + but this one just cried out for more and it's very happy as it is.

Arjen, there's a website that I use that with change a photo into a code that will open up in a forum. It's called imgur. The site is http://www.imgur.com So you just drop your photo onto a page labeled drop it here and then you can pick how you want to get it into code and they have some choices to...

The headstock wing looks a little odd in this photo cuz I did a little Photoshop on it but it is nice in real life.

Hey gang, the new case for Arjen's guitar is finally in progress at G&G Case Co. and I think it's going to be a beautiful thing.

Hi GB,
Actually the white base coat with sparkle pearl overcoat are already there.
I only had to mask off the areas that are remaining white/pearl. Once I spray the
gold areas and remove the masking I'm ready for final clear coats.

Yeah! I like the green flames. Maybe too like blended bright white to yellow to orange . . . .
Or white into blue like a gas flame. How about rocket engine nozzle in the crotch too.

Hmmmmm! Regarding the remark about looking "Super Sleek" I can visualize this guitar with a rocket engine

Hey PB, it's the opposite. White is the ticket. I'm going to reveal something I just learned while painting Wolfi's guitar and that is: I tried mixing some white into the pink neon as well as using the base coat white and it worked a lot better. On the W/G I will be using a bit darker lacquer primer...

All of the Mill work and routing is done and I'm doing touch-up sanding at the moment. Next is priming and touch up sanding. Also fill and sand on any small imperfections and more primer. The guitar I built a while back for Metatron was built to 92 PEAR dimensions. And the original one for Vinnie of course.
While building the original 92 (#1) I created full size blue prints as well so that helped a lot building #2. So if you're
interested I can give you a quote for #3.

as the shit hit the fan he just let it run out the following December for lack of activity and fee's to be paid. So the Secretary of State

Hi Shram,
That is one of my "Mini" guitars that I'm also building for a long time customer of mine.
It's also semi-hollow with chambers just under the openings in the laminated front surface.
Otherwise the body is solid Alder, the lam top is Flame Maple with a matching headstock.

This shot shows the start of the fret work. I'm pre-sizing the frets and using fret nippers to shorten the end tangs so the main tang will fit between the bindings. Yep'. I like to leave the bottom of the neck flat which makes it easier to clamp down the FB and so I can put in the frets with my press. After that's done I 'll shape the neck. Here's a shot of the fretboard getting all gooped up. I've mixed the Ebony/Inlay powder with epoxy and used it to fill any gaps between the inlays and the FB Wood. Here's another progress shot of the fret board work for the W/G-VV. I've got all of the inlay cavities routed and I'm ready to install the inlays. The frets would have to be pulled first then the binding channel cut and the binding glued in and shaped to the FB radius. Next the only way to put in new inlays might be to use some flexible faux pearl inlay material to conform to the FB radius. And, that's part of it. Last but not least refretting...
