To be honest, I find him at his best when the vocals demand a manly growl to them. I don't think that his voice lends itself well to subtleties. He is very pitchy when SINGING melodically compared to growling melodically. Make sense? I do enjoy The Boogie Knights though. Right up my alley. Very fun...
